The aim of this course is to establish what an experiment really is and what characterises a good experiment - and speed up the journey to becoming a proficient experimenter. The course will support the understanding of basic concepts in science theory and how to apply them in practice, including the difference between experimentation and passive observation, and how to plan and carry out experiments that result in explanatory knowledge. The course also provides knowledge on how to apply important statistical tools through out your research process.
