Are you involved in an innovative startup that could benefit from a financial boost?

Sweden's innovation agency's call Innovative Startups is aimed at knowledge-intensive start-ups with great potential in an international market and a sustainable business model. The business idea must have a high level of innovation and be based on unique knowledge assets. Vinnova will fund activities that ensure that an innovative idea has a market, as well as to test and confirm its potential.


Vinnova is offering grants up to 500 000 SEK.

Who can apply? A Swedish “Aktiebolag” with fewer than 10 employees and with a net annual turnover, or a balance sheet, of a maximum of 10 MSEK, and which have not yet distributed any profits. 

The call is open between 1 September 2026, and 12 January 2027.
