The Society of Swedish Engineers in Great Britain (SIS) is offering a scholarship opportunity for a young, motivated and driven Swedish engineer who is planning to study or currently studying in the United Kingdom at the PhD or Masters level.

SIS was formed in 1924 for Swedish engineers active in Great Britain. Since its formation, SIS has awarded scholarships to enable studies and research for Swedish engineers at British institutions, in all engineering fields including chemistry, electricity, mechanics, architecture, data, geology, medicine and environmental technology.
The scholarship
The SIS scholarship for 2023 is £5000 (five thousand pounds).
How to Apply
Applications should be sent to Per Olof Emaunelsson at chairman@swedishengineers.org.uk, and must be received by SIS no later than 30 June 2023. The application must include a CV, the name of the university/institution in Great Britain where the applicant is/will be affiliated with as well as a personal letter describing how the scholarship is to be used.
